Yan Diomande stars as Real Madrid beat Sevilla FC 4-1

Yan Diomande scored and provided an assist as Real Madrid defeated Sevilla FC 4-1 on Sunday in the ninth round of LaLiga.

The Ivorian winger played the full 90 minutes and made a decisive contribution to a convincing victory, underlining his growing importance to Real Madrid’s attacking play.

Diomande created the opening goal in the 30th minute, supplying Arda Guler with the pass that allowed the midfielder to find the net. The 19-year-old then added his own name to the scoresheet late in the match, scoring in the 82nd minute to complete an outstanding individual display.

His contribution against Sevilla FC takes his LaLiga record this season to two goals and two assists from nine appearances. The figures reflect his influence in the final third, both as a provider and as a scorer.

Completing the entire match also demonstrated Diomande’s ability to maintain his impact throughout 90 minutes. His performance gives Real Madrid further encouragement as they continue their campaign, with the Ivorian offering another attacking option capable of affecting results.

Diomande will now look to carry that consistency into the upcoming fixtures. Leipzig are due to play Real Madrid in the third round of the Champions League shortly.
