Real Betis reject January exit for Troy Parrott as Manchester United and Tottenham monitor striker

Real Betis have no intention of allowing Troy Parrott to leave the club in the near future, despite reported interest from Manchester United and his former side Tottenham.

The 24-year-old striker joined Real Betis from AZ Alkmaar in the summer and has quickly made an impression in LaLiga. He has scored one goal and provided one assist in five appearances, including two starts.

Parrott has been among the most prolific strikers in European football since leaving Tottenham in 2024. His form has reportedly prompted interest from both Tottenham and Manchester United, with the two Premier League clubs said to be considering a move in January.

Journalist Christian Vaquero reports that Real Betis are firmly opposed to selling Parrott any time soon.

The Republic of Ireland striker’s contract contains a €100 million release clause. English clubs could also revive their interest next summer, but any attempt to sign him would have to take that figure into account.
