Signing a Brazilian footballer often brings excitement for supporters, and Arsenal have had 13 players from Brazil appear for them in the Premier League since the competition began in 1992.
Their impact has varied considerably. Some became important figures during Arsene Wenger’s successful years, while others found it difficult to establish themselves during Unai Emery’s time in charge. Together, however, they form a memorable group, with players ranging from club legends to less successful signings.
This quiz challenges you to identify every Brazilian who has represented Arsenal in the Premier League.
You have 10 minutes to name them all. To help, the quiz provides the number of Premier League appearances each player made for Arsenal, along with their respective goals totals.
Only players who have played for Arsenal in the Premier League are eligible. There is one exception: the Brazilian midfielder pictured above, who signed for the club this summer and is expected to make his competitive debut in due course.
An asterisk indicates that the player is currently on Arsenal’s books at Emirates Stadium.
