Paris St-Germain have included the BETBOOM friendly between Russia and Nigeria in their schedule for 6 October, even though goalkeeper Matvey Safonov will not take part in the match.
An image published by the French club lists two internationals involving national teams that have selected PSG players: Russia v Nigeria and Croatia v Spain.
However, Safonov left the Russia squad before the fixture and has already missed the team’s match against Namibia.
The decision marks a contrast with PSG’s previous international-fixture announcement. At the end of September, the club published a list of five matches involving its players but did not include Russia’s meeting with Iran.
Safonov remained with the national team for that fixture and played in Russia’s victory over Iran.
