Khulumani Ndamane linked with Braga move from Sundowns

South African centre-back Khulumani Ndamane, who plays for Sundowns, has been linked with a move to Portuguese club Braga.

The proposed transfer would take the 22-year-old from South Africa’s Betway Premiership to Liga Portugal, with Ndamane’s current market value listed at €1.2m.

Ndamane joined Sundowns from TS Galaxy on 12 January 2026 and has made three league appearances during the 2026-27 campaign. He has also featured in the MTN8 and FIFA Intercontinental Cup, starting the latter competition’s only match listed for him.

The defender has made five senior appearances for Sundowns across those competitions since arriving at the club. He was part of the Sundowns side that won the CAF Champions League in the 2025-26 season.

Ndamane began his senior club career with Kaizer Chiefs II before moving to TS Galaxy in July 2024. He later switched to Sundowns, where he has continued his development as a right-footed centre-back.

The reported interest from Braga comes while Ndamane remains a Sundowns player. There is no confirmed transfer fee or agreement attached to the rumour, and he continues to be listed with the South African club.
