Italian newspapers are leading on AC Milan’s interest in Real Madrid forward Endrick, while Juventus midfielder Kenan Yildiz is being linked with a possible €100m move to Real Madrid.
Gerry Cardinale is preparing a January approach for Endrick, according to one report. Jose Mourinho blocked a move for the Brazilian in the summer, but the forward has had limited playing time at Real Madrid.
Another paper says Endrick is “waiting for Roma”, with no clear route into the Real Madrid team. He is reportedly attracted by the prospect of working with Gian Piero Gasperini, who had already tried to sign him during the summer.
Yildiz is also the subject of significant speculation. Juventus have secured the Turkey international until 2030, but the situation could change depending on whether the club qualify for the Champions League. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is considering a summer move for a deal worth €100m, while Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also interested.
A further season outside the competition could force Juventus into a major sale, with a potential successor already at the club in Alajbegovic.
Italy prepare for Turkiye
Italy’s upcoming meeting with Turkiye is another prominent theme, with Gianluigi Donnarumma and the Azzurri pictured after the draw in France. Italy will return to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Monday, while Turkiye visit Bologna tomorrow.
The national team’s 1-1 draw in Paris followed a 4-1 victory in Bursa, and the atmosphere around the side is said to be changing. Eight million viewers watched the match on television, while 25,000 tickets have already been sold for the game at the Dall’Ara.
One report outlines “Italy in 10 moves”, suggesting the quarter-finals are possible, while another focuses on Roberto Mancini’s influence. In 64 matches as coach, Mancini has given debuts to 64 players.
Kayode, Vergara and Seba Esposito are described as Mancini’s latest additions. Napoli’s young talent said: “We’re looking for enjoyment and happiness.” Italy are expected to make six or seven changes against Turkiye, with Nicolo Barella returning.
FIGC vote under scrutiny
Tuesday’s CONI meeting on Malago is taking place amid considerable tension. UEFA has warned that if a commissioner is appointed at the FIGC, immediate elections must follow or there will be no European Championship.
Buonfiglio is also facing questions over a possible conflict of interest because his son is an executive at the Kings League.
Transfer plans and Juventus interview
Fiorentina are planning a January move for Lecce defender Tiago Gabriel, with Fabio Paratici leading the club’s efforts.
Inter coach Chivu has declared that “winning the Champions League is the dream”, while Juventus coach Spalletti gave a three-hour interview in the newsroom.
Spalletti said: “Here you don’t live on football, but on Juve: in competition with ourselves, not with others.” Discussing his squad, he added: “I feel 250 million of responsibility. Yildiz is a leader and he breaks the system, he resembles Kvara.”
He also said: “I’m free and happy. Supporters, we’ll make you proud of us.”
