Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is preparing to make significant changes to his starting line-up after the international break, with the club set to play two matches every week.
Players who have had limited first-team opportunities are expected to be given more minutes, including Gabriel Jesus, Hamza Abdelkarim and Brian Farinas, according to Barca Universal.
Flick is also likely to rest Barcelona captain Raphinha Dias for the team’s next La Liga match against Getafe on 10 October.
The planned changes come during an exceptionally demanding period for Barcelona, who face five fixtures during the month.
After the match against Getafe, Barcelona will travel to face Galatasaray on 13.10 and then play away against Real Betis on 17.10.
They will remain on the road for their next fixture against Paris Saint-Germain on 20.10, before returning home to meet Real Madrid on 25.10.
The schedule means Flick is expected to rely on a wider group of players as Barcelona negotiate a sequence of domestic and European matches.
