Christophe Galtier says he remains open to returning to Ligue 1, despite making an impressive start to his coaching career with Saudi Arabian club SC Neom.
The former Paris Saint-Germain manager told Le Parisien that he continues to follow French football closely and considers Ligue 1 the competition he knows best.
Galtier has won the French title twice. He guided Lille to the championship in 2021 before achieving the same success during his only season in charge of PSG.
The 59-year-old has also managed Saint-Etienne and Nice during a career spent largely in France.
After leaving PSG, Galtier moved to Qatar to coach Al-Duhail. He then joined Neom and has led the club to five victories in their seven Saudi Pro League matches this season.
Despite his success in Saudi Arabia, Galtier did not rule out another opportunity in France or a move elsewhere. He also made clear that retirement is not currently under consideration.
“One thing is sure, I will still be a manager for at least the next three years,” he said.
