South Africa’s four United Rugby Championship teams will try to build on last weekend’s clean sweep of victories, with several Springboks returning to their squads for the next round.
Siya Kolisi is set to make his first appearance for the Stormers in more than five years when they visit Edinburgh on Friday. The Lions have included Morne van den Berg and Quan Horn among their replacements, while Andre Esterhuizen returns from international duty to captain a strong Sharks side against Leinster.
Bulls coach Johan Ackermann has opted not to rush any Springboks back into action, with his team facing an away fixture against Munster in Ireland.
The Stormers begin the weekend against Edinburgh at Hive Stadium on Friday, 2 October 2026. Kick-off is at 20:45 South African time, with Eoghan Cross refereeing and SuperSport broadcasting the match.
