Georgina Rodriguez has publicly supported her husband, Cristiano Ronaldo, after the Al-Nassr forward’s dispute with Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus and his departure from the national team’s training camp.
Ronaldo left the camp and travelled to Spain just minutes after Jorge Jesus held a news conference in which he said he would not change his tactical decisions for one player.
Jesus also confirmed that Ronaldo would not start Portugal’s match against Denmark.
Rodriguez responded on social media with a brief message of support. She posted a photograph of herself and Ronaldo at a party, clapping for him, and captioned it: “The best.”
Ronaldo had earlier wished Portugal and all the players good luck in a short message announcing his departure from the camp.
He also said he would reveal the truth at the appropriate time.
