Ivory Coast midfielder Seko Fofana has announced his retirement from international football at the age of 31, bringing an end to his time with the Elephants.
Fofana confirmed his decision on Monday, 14 September 2026, ending a national-team career in which he made 35 appearances and scored seven goals.
The midfielder leaves international football as an African champion, having been part of the Ivory Coast squad that won the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on home soil.
