Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been linked with a move from Besiktas to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad.
Ndidi joined Besiktas from Leicester City in August 2025 and remains under contract with the Turkish club until June 2028. The 29-year-old’s potential move would see him leave the Super Lig for Saudi Arabia, although there has been no confirmation of an agreement or formal transfer.
He has made three league appearances for Besiktas this season, starting one match and playing 110 minutes in total. Ndidi has also featured twice in Europa League qualifying, providing one assist.
The midfielder spent eight seasons with Leicester after joining the club from Genk in January 2017. He helped Leicester win the FA Cup in 2021 and was part of the side that secured promotion back to the Premier League in 2024.
Ndidi’s current deal means Besiktas are not facing an imminent contract expiry, adding importance to any decision over whether to consider an offer from Al-Ittihad. For now, the reported interest remains at the rumour stage, with the player still registered as a Besiktas midfielder.
