Juventus have completed the signing of forward Nick Woltemade on loan from Newcastle United until 30 June 2027, adding the Germany international to Luciano Spalletti’s attacking options.
The move marks the start of a new chapter in Italy for Woltemade, who developed through the youth system at Werder Bremen before making his first-team debut for the club in 2020.
His career then took him to SV Elversberg during the 2022/23 campaign, when he spent time away from Werder Bremen to gain further experience. After returning from that loan spell, Woltemade continued to develop and produced an impressive season in the Bundesliga.
That form led to a transfer to Stuttgart in the summer of 2024. It was there that the forward enjoyed the most productive period of his career to that point, scoring 18 goals in 36 appearances.
Woltemade also played an important part in Stuttgart’s success in the German Cup, helping the club win the competition. His performances attracted the attention of Premier League side Newcastle United, who signed him in 2025.
During his time with Newcastle United, Woltemade made 53 appearances, scoring 11 goals and supplying six assists. He now leaves the Premier League club temporarily to continue his career with Juventus.
His arrival strengthens the attacking ranks available to Spalletti, with Juventus securing the services of a forward whose career has already taken him from Werder Bremen and SV Elversberg to Stuttgart, Newcastle United and now Italian football.
The loan agreement runs through to 30 June 2027, giving Woltemade the opportunity to establish himself at Juventus while continuing the next stage of his development.
Having made his name in Germany and experienced football in England with Newcastle United, Woltemade will now begin his new journey in Italy.
