Peterborough forward David Kamara, an English and Sierra Leonean 20-year-old, is being linked with a move to Tranmere in League Two.
Kamara plays as a centre-forward and has made two appearances for Peterborough in the EFL Cup this season, totalling 16 minutes. He has not featured in League One, where Peterborough have played three possible games.
The reported interest comes with Kamara contracted to Peterborough until 30 June 2029. No transfer fee has been given for the potential move, while his current market value is listed at €100,000.
Kamara joined Peterborough’s under-21 setup from Welling United in July 2024. He was part of the Peterborough side that won the Football League Trophy in the 2024-25 season.
The forward spent parts of the 2025-26 campaign on loan, joining King’s Lynn in October before moving to Harborough in November. He returned to Peterborough’s under-21 side at the end of February.
Tranmere, who compete in League Two, are the club linked with Kamara as of 1 September. The move remains a rumour, with the player currently tied to Peterborough on a contract running through the end of the 2028-29 season.
