Algerian midfielder Sid Ahmed Aissaoui has joined CR Temouchent from MC Algiers on a free transfer, completing his move to the Ligue 1 club on 22 August 2026.
The 21-year-old central midfielder has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. He moves within Algeria’s top flight after spending the previous season with MC Algiers, where he was part of the squad that won the Algerian championship in the 2025-26 campaign.
Aissaoui’s switch brings an end to his time at MC Algiers, where he had returned after a spell with Russian club CSKA Moscow. He initially joined MC Algiers from CSKA on 31 July 2025 in a €250,000 transfer, following the conclusion of a loan spell with the Algerian side.

Before that move, Aissaoui had spent part of the 2024-25 season on loan at MC Algiers from CSKA. He also had a temporary spell with Moldovan club FC Sheriff between July and December 2024, before returning to Moscow.
The midfielder began his senior career with USM Alger Under-21s, joining from Academie FAF in July 2022. He moved to CSKA Moscow in February 2024 for €250,000, having progressed through the Algerian development system.
Born in Blida on 11 January 2005, Aissaoui is a right-footed midfielder who stands 1.83 metres tall. His arrival gives CR Temouchent a player with experience of football in Algeria, Russia and Moldova, while also bringing domestic title-winning experience from his most recent campaign.
CR Temouchent have secured Aissaoui’s services without a transfer fee, with the player now tied to the club until the end of June 2027.
