Senegalese-Spanish winger Amath Ndiaye has joined Qatar’s Lusail SC from Real Valladolid for €400,000, beginning a new chapter in the Stars League after two seasons with the Spanish club.
The 30-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. Ndiaye, who was born in Dakar and plays primarily on the right wing, moves to Qatar after starting the 2026-27 campaign without an appearance for Valladolid in LaLiga2.

Ndiaye initially moved to Valladolid on loan from RCD Mallorca in February 2024. That temporary spell ended in June, before Valladolid completed his signing for €2m on 1 July 2024.
He made the switch to Mallorca from Getafe in July 2021 for €3m, having previously spent time with Atletico and CD Tenerife. His move to Tenerife came on loan from Atletico during the 2016-17 season, while he joined Atletico’s senior set-up from the club’s youth structure in 2016.
The transfer to Lusail represents the latest move in a career that has taken Ndiaye through several Spanish clubs and now into Qatar’s top flight. He leaves Valladolid after the club’s opening fixture of the new LaLiga2 season, in which he did not feature.
Ndiaye’s contract with Lusail runs through the end of June 2027, and his transfer was completed on 20 August 2026.
