Paris Saint-Germain and France defender Lucas Hernandez has married Victoria Triay, an Argentine model who grew up in Brazil.
The couple held their wedding at the 12th-century Vaux-de-Cernay Abbey, a historic site set in the Rambouillet forest around 45 minutes south-west of Paris. They rented the entire estate for the occasion.
The abbey was transformed into a luxury hotel at the end of the 19th century by Baroness Charlotte de Rothschild. Its historic setting provided the backdrop for the wedding of Hernandez and Triay.
Hernandez and Triay first met in a nightclub in Paris on 12 November 2023. They have remained together ever since, and later chose the former abbey as the venue for their marriage.
The wedding marks a new chapter in the personal life of the 29-year-old defender, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and represents France.
Hernandez was previously in a relationship with model Amelia de la Hossa Llorente. They have a son and a daughter together.
Hernandez and Triay also have a daughter together. The couple’s relationship began after their meeting in the French capital and has continued since then.
The wedding venue, located among the woodland near Rambouillet, was reserved exclusively by the newlyweds. The former abbey’s origins date back to the 12th century, while its later conversion into a luxury hotel was carried out under the direction of Charlotte de Rothschild in the late 1800s.
Hernandez remains a member of both Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team. His marriage to Triay comes after a relationship that began less than three years after the pair first met in Paris.
Triay is Argentine by nationality and was raised in Brazil. She and Hernandez now share a daughter, while the defender also has two children from his previous relationship with de la Hossa Llorente.
