Burkina Faso international Dango Ouattara continued his impressive pre-season form by scoring in Brentford’s emphatic 7-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 24-year-old winger struck in the 52nd minute to register his second goal in the space of a week.
Ouattara had also scored in Brentford’s 4-1 win over Rennes on 8 August, meaning he has now found the net in consecutive pre-season matches.
The Burkina Faso international started against Frankfurt and played the full 90 minutes as Brentford produced a dominant display.
His latest goal came shortly after half-time as the Bees continued to control the contest and eventually completed a seven-goal rout.
The performance provides another positive boost for Brentford ahead of the new Premier League campaign, while Ouattara will be encouraged by his own attacking form.
The winger joined Brentford from Bournemouth last summer and made 37 appearances in all competitions during his first season at the club, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
He will now hope to build on that campaign as he enters another season in English football.
With goals against Rennes and Frankfurt within the space of a week, the Burkina Faso international appears to be heading into the new Premier League season with growing confidence.
