Brighton value Jack Hinshelwood at up to £51m amid Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United interest

Brighton & Hove Albion have placed a reported £43m to £51m valuation on Jack Hinshelwood as Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United prepare to consider bids for the England Under-21 international.

The 21-year-old midfielder has emerged as a serious target for several of the Premier League’s leading clubs, with reports from The Sun and The Mirror suggesting that his performances have attracted growing interest.

Hinshelwood has made 79 appearances for Brighton, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists. He was also part of the England squad that won the UEFA Euro U21 Championship 12 months ago and has continued his progression towards the top level of English football.

His ability to contribute in midfield is understood to be a major attraction for potential suitors. Hinshelwood can also operate at either full-back position, giving him the flexibility to cover several roles within a team.

Despite the interest, Brighton are not under immediate pressure to sell. Hinshelwood signed a new contract in March that runs until June 2029, placing the club in a strong negotiating position and increasing the possibility that he will remain at the Amex until at least next summer.

Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign the young player. The news comes less than a week after it was reported that Arsenal had offered Myles Lewis-Skelly to Manchester United and Chelsea, two of their Premier League rivals.

A formal offer in the region of £43m to £51m could be enough to trigger discussions over a possible transfer. Supporters are now waiting to see whether an agreement can be reached between any interested club and Brighton.

Hinshelwood is viewed by the clubs monitoring him as a player with considerable potential who could make an immediate impact during the current season. His experience of senior football, combined with his versatility and recent involvement with England’s successful Under-21 side, has strengthened his reputation among Premier League recruitment teams.

Brighton’s long-term contract with Hinshelwood means any interested club may have to meet a substantial asking price if it wants to secure his services. Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are all understood to be assessing the situation, while Brighton retain control over whether a move takes place.
