Ghanaian centre-forward Kwaku Karikari has signed for FK Zeleznicar Pancevo from AC Horsens in a €600,000 permanent transfer. The 24-year-old returns to the Serbian Super Liga club after a previous spell on loan from the Danish side.
Karikari, a right-footed striker standing at 1.83m, heads back to Pancevo with a market value of €2 million. He originally joined the club on loan from Horsens in August 2025 and spent the 2025-26 campaign there before his temporary deal expired at the end of the season.
The forward first moved to AC Horsens in July 2024 from Serbian outfit Jedinstvo Ub for a €300,000 fee, following his breakthrough in European football. His rise began in Ghana with Charity Stars and Liberty Professionals’ youth set-up, progressing into Liberty’s first team before switching to Serbian side Jedinstvo Ub on a free transfer in 2022.
Karikari’s latest move reinstates him in the Serbian top flight, where he will compete in the 2026-27 Super Liga season for Zeleznicar Pancevo. He has yet to feature in the current league campaign, with no appearances recorded so far.
Having now completed a full transfer after his earlier loan and brief return to Denmark, Karikari once again becomes a permanent member of FK Zeleznicar Pancevo’s attacking options.
