Al Hilal have been offered the chance to sign Chelsea winger Pedro Neto, as the Saudi Pro League champions continue to weigh up high-profile attacking targets ahead of the new season.
The Portuguese international has been put forward to the Riyadh club by his agent Jorge Mendes, according to well-connected Italian journalist Gianluca Longari, with a potential move to the Saudi top flight under consideration during the current summer transfer window.
Al Hilal, who have become a major player in the global market following last year’s recruitment drive, are not only pursuing their own primary targets but are now also fielding direct approaches from representatives of leading European players.
Neto proposal adds to Al Hilal attacking search
While Neto being offered to Al Hilal does not mean formal negotiations have started, his name has been added to the club’s list of options as they study all available opportunities before deciding on their next major attacking signing.
The Saudi side are in the middle of a wide-ranging search to reinforce Simone Inzaghi’s forward line, having already secured the arrival of Dutch attacker Crisencio Summerville earlier in the window.
