Cameroon centre-back Frederic Miyenga, currently without a club, is being linked with a move to Greek Super League 2 side Nestos as the 27-year-old looks for the next step in his career.
Miyenga has been a free agent since leaving Greek outfit Marko on 1 July 2026 and is available without a transfer fee, a factor understood to be attracting interest from clubs operating with tight budgets ahead of the new campaign. His notional market valuation stands at around €125,000, underlining the relatively low-cost nature of any potential deal for Nestos.
The Douala-born defender has built up experience across Greece’s lower divisions in recent seasons, including a spell with Marko after joining them in July 2025 from Neo Keramidi on a free transfer. Before that, he had further Super League 2 exposure with Greek sides following a move from AE Ermionida, having initially arrived in Europe with Montpellier’s youth and reserve teams before a stint at Czech club MFK Vyskov.
Miyenga’s most substantial run of senior minutes came in Super League 2, where he clocked 27 appearances in one campaign, underlining his familiarity with the level Nestos compete in. That volume of game time, combined with additional outings in cup and play-off fixtures, has helped establish him as a known quantity within the Greek second tier.
With pre-season preparations advancing, Nestos are weighing up whether to convert their interest into a concrete offer, while Miyenga continues to assess his options as a free agent after departing Marko earlier this month.
