Moroccan-French goalkeeper Bilal Laurendon, currently without a club after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, is being linked with a move to LaLiga side Valencia. The 20-year-old, who was born in Gonesse and stands at 1.93m, is understood to be on the Spanish club’s radar as they explore options to strengthen their goalkeeping department ahead of the new season.
Laurendon became available on 1 July 2026 and can be signed outside the constraints of a transfer fee, a factor that is thought to be attracting interest from clubs looking for depth in goal. Valencia are monitoring the situation as they assess whether to formalise their interest in the former PSG player.
The goalkeeper was part of the Paris Saint-Germain squad that won the UEFA Champions League in the 2025-26 season, adding a major senior honour to back-to-back French U19 titles with PSG’s youth team in 2023-24 and 2024-25. His rise through the ranks in Paris, culminating in a place in a Champions League-winning group, has drawn attention to his availability on the market.
Laurendon, a right-footer who represents both Moroccan and French nationality, left PSG at the end of the 2025-26 campaign and has been unattached since the start of July. With no contract currently tying him to a club, his future remains open as Valencia and other potential suitors weigh up their next move.
