Nigerian midfielder Bless Aniekan has joined Spanish side Real Avila on a free transfer from AD Ceuta, signing a deal with the Segunda Federacion club until 30 June 2027.
The 23-year-old central midfielder moves after a spell with Ceuta that included game time in both the Primera Federacion and Segunda Federacion, as well as appearances in the Copa del Rey and Copa Federacion. Real Avila add him to their squad ahead of the new campaign in Group V of the Segunda Federacion.
Aniekan arrives with experience across Spain’s lower professional tiers, having featured regularly last season. Across league and cup competitions, he built up minutes in the third and fourth tiers and scored once in promotion play-offs to the Segunda Federacion, underlining his ability to contribute in decisive fixtures.
Before returning to Ceuta’s first team, Aniekan had been loaned to Xerez CD, where he gained further league experience, and previously played for UD Gran Tarajal. Earlier in his career in Spain he spent time with Oviedo’s reserve side and had loan spells with CD Praviano and San Claudio after stepping up from youth football at Covadonga.
Real Avila have secured Aniekan, whose current market value is listed at €50,000, on a free transfer as they prepare for the 2026-27 season.
