Mishel Nduka: Arsenal U18 and England youth midfielder linked with Man City move

England and Nigeria youth attacking midfielder Mishel Nduka of Arsenal U18 is attracting interest from Manchester City, with the Premier League champions monitoring a potential move for the 16-year-old. The teenager, who operates primarily as an attacking midfielder and is right-footed, has emerged as a target as City continue to track leading talents from across the U18 Premier League.

Nduka has been part of Arsenal’s U18 set-up since 1 July 2026, having previously progressed through the club’s youth ranks after joining from Charlton Athletic in September 2025. He is currently registered with Arsenal’s U18 side but has already featured beyond that level, indicating his standing within the north London club’s academy structure.

This season, Nduka has made 10 appearances in the U18 Premier League, while also stepping up to feature in Premier League 2 and the UEFA Youth League. Those outings, including minutes at both domestic and European youth level, have helped bring him to the attention of senior recruitment departments.

Nduka holds eligibility for both England and Nigeria and is listed with multiple nationalities, underlining the interest he could attract at international level as his development continues. His rapid rise from Charlton Athletic to Arsenal’s academy and now onto the radar of Manchester City reflects the speed of his progression through youth football.

There is currently no indication of an agreed fee or advanced negotiations, and Nduka’s move from Arsenal U18 to any Premier League club remains at the rumour stage, with the midfielder continuing his development under contract in north London.
