Felix Eboa Eboa: Cameroon defender linked with Nam Dinh FC switch

Cameroon-born centre-back Felix Eboa Eboa, currently without a club after leaving Arda Kardzhali, is being linked with a move to Vietnamese side Nam Dinh FC in V.League 1. The 29-year-old defender, who also holds French nationality, is understood to be on the radar of the Vietnamese club as they explore experienced options to strengthen the heart of their defence.

Eboa Eboa officially became a free agent on 1 July 2026 following the end of his spell with Bulgarian outfit Arda Kardzhali, making a potential deal with Nam Dinh FC a straightforward free transfer. His current market valuation stands at around €750,000, underlining the level of investment that may be required in wages and signing-on terms rather than a transfer fee.

The move would mark a new chapter in a career that has largely unfolded in Europe. Raised in the Paris Saint-Germain academy system from youth level, Eboa Eboa progressed through PSG’s age groups before joining Guingamp in 2017. After six years on the books of the French club, he first entered the free-agent market in the summer of 2023, later signing for Arda Kardzhali in February 2024.

Having seen his estimated value peak at €5m earlier in his career, Eboa Eboa is now at a stage where regular football and stability are likely to be central considerations in any decision. For the moment he remains unattached and available, with Nam Dinh FC emerging as the latest club credited with interest in securing his signature.
