Al Ahly forward Achraf Bencharki is reportedly keen to extend his stay at the Egyptian club beyond his current contract, following a successful start to life in Cairo.
The Moroccan international only joined Al Ahly in January 2025 but has already played a key role in their recent success, helping the club win the Egyptian Premier League title and the Egyptian Super Cup. He has also featured at the FIFA Club World Cup, underlining his growing importance within the squad.
Reports suggest Bencharki has expressed a strong desire to continue his spell with the Egyptian giants and has asked for talks over a new agreement that could see him remain at the club for a longer period.
The winger is said to be settled in the Al Ahly environment, having adapted quickly to life at one of Africa’s most successful clubs and established himself as a regular contributor since his arrival.
