Moroccan international Brahim Díaz has reportedly decided to remain at Real Madrid CF despite growing interest from several Serie A clubs seeking to bring him back to Italian football.
The attacking midfielder has emerged as one of the notable names in the transfer market following another season in which his versatility and European experience attracted attention from clubs across the continent.
According to Italian transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, Diaz is not considering leaving Real Madrid at this stage and is prioritising the continuation of his career with the Spanish and European champions.
The report stated that the Morocco international has no intention of entering serious negotiations with interested clubs, despite renewed approaches during the current transfer window.
Italian giants Juventus FC were reportedly among the strongest admirers of the player and had previously attempted to secure his signature during the winter transfer window.
The Turin-based club is said to have made significant progress in discussions at that time in an effort to convince Diaz to return to Serie A, where he previously enjoyed a successful spell.
However, Juventus reportedly revived their interest again this summer only to discover that the player remained determined to continue at Real Madrid. His position effectively brought negotiations to a halt before any meaningful progress could be achieved.
The report also indicated that AS Roma recently joined the race for the midfielder. Roma officials are believed to have contacted the player’s camp to assess the possibility of bringing him to the Italian capital as part of the club’s developing sporting project ahead of next season.
Despite those enquiries, neither Diaz nor his representatives reportedly responded to the Italian side’s approach, a move widely interpreted as a clear indication that the player is not interested in discussing opportunities away from Madrid.
Diaz is understood to be focused on continuing his fight for a regular place within Real Madrid’s highly competitive squad. The player is also believed to value the confidence he enjoys within the club setup and remains eager to add further domestic and continental trophies to his career.
Competition for attacking places at Real Madrid has intensified in recent seasons, yet Diaz has continued to establish himself as a useful option because of his ability to operate in several forward positions.
His performances in Spain have also reinforced the reputation he built during his earlier period in Italian football with AC Milan.
During his time in Milan, Diaz made a significant impression and became a popular figure with supporters, leading several Serie A clubs to continue monitoring his situation after his return to Spain.
