Harry Kane has extended his Bayern Munich contract until 2029, with the new agreement reportedly making him the highest-paid footballer in Europe.
The 33-year-old striker’s renewal was announced by Bayern Munich on the morning of 5 November.
Journalist David Ornstein reports that Kane’s new deal is the biggest contract in Bayern Munich’s history. Sources also told Ornstein that the extension has made Kane the highest-paid player in Europe.
The exact figures have not been disclosed, although a significant proportion of the striker’s income is understood to be made up of bonuses.
Bayern Munich do not regard the agreement as Kane’s final contract with the club. They hope to continue working with the forward, who has scored 10 goals in 14 matches this season and provided eight assists.
Kane said: “I am proud to be part of Bayern Munich.”
