Hamza Bahdoul has taken up the role of Head of Sports Performance with the Liberia national team, beginning a new international chapter in his career.
He has held the position since June 2026, having previously built his experience through academic study in France and high-level sporting work in Morocco.
Bahdoul graduated from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at the University of Lorraine in France, where he specialised in high-performance engineering. He is also continuing his academic career as a doctoral researcher, focusing on the development of sports performance.
His professional background includes roles with the Moroccan National Olympic Committee and Kawkab Athletique Club de Marrakech, giving him experience across both institutional sport and elite football.
In Liberia, he will apply that scientific knowledge and practical experience to support the national team’s players and staff.
His responsibilities include monitoring the players’ physical condition, analysing performance data, managing training loads and helping optimise performance at both individual and collective level.
The appointment marks an important step in Bahdoul’s professional development, bringing together his work in sports science and his experience in high-level football.
