Tottenham and Juventus make contact over Eintracht Frankfurt forward Younes Ebnoutalib

Younes Ebnoutalib’s rapid rise at Eintracht Frankfurt has attracted attention from Tottenham and Juventus, with both clubs contacting the striker’s representatives about a possible transfer.

The 20-year-old has emerged as one of the standout attackers in the early part of the season after overcoming a difficult start to life at Eintracht Frankfurt. According to Sky Deutschland, Tottenham and Juventus have already made initial enquiries about the conditions of a potential move.

Ebnoutalib joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Elversberg in January, but his progress was quickly interrupted by a ligament injury. The problem kept him out for several weeks and he did not return to competitive action until April.

He made only five appearances during the second half of last season, scoring once and playing a total of 131 minutes. His limited involvement reflected both his recovery and the adjustment required after changing clubs.

This campaign has brought a marked improvement. Ebnoutalib has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 10 appearances, despite playing only 675 minutes.

That equates to a direct goal involvement every 67.5 minutes, underlining the efficiency that has placed him on the radar of leading European clubs.

His performances have also earned international recognition. In September, Ebnoutalib made his debut for the Germany national team, another indication of how quickly his standing has grown since joining Eintracht Frankfurt.

Uncertainty over a January move

Tottenham and Juventus are understood to be among the strongest contenders currently monitoring the forward. Their contact with his agent represents an early step towards assessing whether a transfer could be possible.

The key question is whether Ebnoutalib would consider leaving Eintracht Frankfurt during the January transfer window or whether he would prefer to continue his development in Germany until next summer.

No decision has been announced, and his next move will depend partly on his own sporting ambitions and on the assurances offered by interested clubs.

Eintracht Frankfurt are under no pressure to sell. Ebnoutalib is contracted to the German club until June 2031, while Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at 18m euros.

That long-term agreement, combined with his improving performances, leaves Eintracht Frankfurt in a strong negotiating position. Tottenham and Juventus would therefore need to present a convincing proposal if they are to secure the striker.

Ebnoutalib’s recovery from the injury that disrupted his first months at the club has been followed by a surge in form and visibility. His decision over whether to remain in Frankfurt or pursue an opportunity elsewhere could become an important moment in his career.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s next fixture is against Paderborn in the ninth matchday of the German league.
