Senegal centre-back Souleymane Toure has joined Ouakam from Sacre Cur on a free transfer, strengthening the Ligue 1 club’s defensive options with an 18-year-old left-footed defender.
Toure completed the move on 1 September 2026 after spending the previous season with Sacre Cur, where he also played in Senegal’s top flight. He made 25 Ligue 1 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, scoring twice and playing 2,137 minutes.
Born in Dalifort on 5 May 2008, Toure stands 1.87m tall and operates primarily as a centre-back. His ability to play with his left foot adds a specific option to Ouakam’s defensive setup as he begins the next stage of his career.
The defender joined Sacre Cur from Jamono Fatick in July 2025, also on a free transfer. Before that move, he represented Jolof OC during the 2024-25 season, completing successive free transfers before arriving at his new club.
Toure’s arrival keeps him in Ligue 1 and follows a full senior season in which he established a regular presence at the heart of Sacre Cur’s defence. His two goals last season came during a campaign that included more than 2,000 minutes of league football.
The move also marks a return to a familiar domestic setting, with both Sacre Cur and Ouakam competing in Senegal’s top division. At 18, Toure joins Ouakam with experience of senior league football already behind him, rather than moving directly from youth football.
He has signed a contract with Ouakam that runs until 30 June 2027.
