Moroccan-Dutch winger Zakaria Aboukhlal could leave Torino for Ligue 1 club AJ Auxerre, with the 26-year-old the subject of a transfer rumour on the final day of the summer window.
Aboukhlal joined Torino from Toulouse in July 2025 in a deal worth €7.5m and remains under contract with the Serie A club until 30 June 2029. His current market value is listed at €6m.
The right winger has made three appearances for Torino this season, featuring twice in Serie A and once in the Italian Cup. He has not scored or provided an assist and has not started any of those matches.
A move to Auxerre would represent a return to France for Aboukhlal, who spent the 2022-23 season with Toulouse and won the French Cup during that campaign. He previously played for AZ Alkmaar before moving to Toulouse.
Aboukhlal was born in Rotterdam and has Moroccan and Dutch nationality. Torino’s record of his current season shows a player who has been used from the bench, with 26 minutes in the Italian Cup and 14% of the available Serie A minutes.
The rumour links him with a switch from Serie A to Ligue 1, but no transfer fee or probability has been established. He remains a Torino player with three years left on his contract.
