Choupo-Moting’s finish reduced Philadelphia’s advantage, but the hosts were unable to find the goals needed to complete a recovery as the Union held on for victory.
The Cameroon international was introduced after the interval with New York already facing a difficult task. Despite spending only part of the match on the pitch, he took roughly 20 minutes to make his mark.
