Everton midfielder Iliman Ndiaye is set to continue his career at Tottenham, according to football insider David Ornstein, with an agreement reportedly reached between the two clubs.
The proposed deal would also see Brazilian forward Richarlison move in the opposite direction, from Tottenham to Everton. However, the transfers are not expected to form a player-exchange agreement. Instead, the two moves would be completed as separate transactions.
The reported switch remains subject to the players agreeing personal terms with their respective new clubs and successfully completing medical examinations. Until those conditions are met, neither transfer can be regarded as finalised.
Ornstein reported the development through social media, with the information indicating that negotiations between Everton and Tottenham have progressed to the point where an understanding over the transfers has been reached.
Ndiaye, who is described as a midfielder, would become a Tottenham player if the proposed move is completed. Richarlison, a forward for Tottenham, would return to Everton as part of the separate transaction heading in the other direction.
The report comes with both clubs in contrasting positions in the Premier League table. Everton currently have four points and sit fourth, while Tottenham have suffered two consecutive defeats and are second from bottom.
