Mehdi Haidar Hedroug, the 19-year-old Algerian midfielder, has joined CR Temouchent from MC Algiers on loan until 30 June 2027.
The move takes Hedroug to another Ligue 1 club in Algeria, with CR Temouchent securing his services for the 2026-27 season. He will remain contracted to MC Algiers, with the loan scheduled to end on 30 June next year.
Hedroug joined MC Algiers on 1 July 2026 after moving up from MC Alger U20. His switch to CR Temouchent follows the start of his senior spell with the club and gives him a new setting within Algeria’s top flight.
The midfielder has already made one appearance in the Coupe d’Algerie, playing 45 minutes. That is the extent of his recorded competitive involvement during the current campaign, before his move to CR Temouchent was completed.
Born on 11 October 2006, Hedroug is an Algeria international at nationality level and plays in midfield. His arrival adds a young player to CR Temouchent’s squad while keeping his registration linked to MC Algiers for the duration of the temporary transfer.
For MC Algiers, the agreement allows Hedroug to spend the season away from the club after only recently joining from its under-20 setup. For CR Temouchent, the deal provides midfield cover through the remainder of the 2026-27 campaign without ending the player’s existing association with his parent club.
Both clubs compete in Ligue 1, meaning Hedroug’s move does not take him to a different division or country. Instead, the loan represents a domestic change of club during his first senior season following his progression from youth football.
CR Temouchent have therefore completed the signing of Hedroug on a loan agreement, with the midfielder due to return to MC Algiers when the arrangement expires on 30 June 2027.
