Mali centre-forward Badra Traore has joined Totana from UB Conquense on a loan deal running until 30 June 2027.
The 20-year-old completed the move on 14 August 2026 after making the switch from the Spanish club, where he had progressed to the senior squad earlier this summer. Traore had joined UB Conquense from the club’s reserve side on 1 July, having initially arrived at UB Conquense B in December 2025 as a free agent.
Traore is a 1.90m right-footed striker who has represented Mali at international level. His move to Totana gives him a new setting in Spain after a short spell with UB Conquense’s first team.
The forward began his recent career in Europe with FC Metz Under-19s. He left the French club in July 2024 before spending time without a club, ahead of his move to UB Conquense B the following season.
His progression from reserve football to a senior-team contract at UB Conquense came shortly before the loan move. The transfer history shows that he moved into the first-team setup on 1 July 2026, then switched to Totana less than two months later.
Traore’s deal with Totana includes a scheduled return to UB Conquense at the end of the loan period. He is contracted to remain with the club until 30 June 2027, when the temporary move concludes.
The transfer adds another stage to the young forward’s development in Spain, following his move from Metz’s youth system and his spell with UB Conquense’s second team. At 20, Traore now continues his career with Totana after completing a loan move from the Segunda Federacion club.
The loan is scheduled to end on 30 June 2027.
