DR Congo-Italian centre-forward Arthur Spadoni has joined Crotone from Avellino U19 on loan, strengthening the Serie C club’s attacking options for the 2026-27 season.
The 19-year-old’s move was completed on 13 August and is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to Avellino. Spadoni’s contract is listed as running until the same date.
Spadoni arrives at Crotone after spending the latter part of the 2025-26 campaign with Avellino U19. He made 14 appearances in Primavera 2 – B and scored seven goals, averaging one goal every 171 minutes in the competition.
He joined Avellino from Torino U20 on a loan deal in January 2026 before returning to Torino at the end of that spell. Avellino then completed a permanent move for the forward on 1 July, with the transfer recorded at €35,000, before sending him to Crotone on loan.
The forward began his development with Torino’s youth teams and moved into the club’s Under-18 side in 2024. He played a part in Torino Under 18’s Italian youth championship success in the 2024-25 season, earning the title of Italian Youth champion at Under-18 level.
Spadoni has also featured in several youth competitions during his career. He scored 10 goals in 31 Under-18 appearances, as well as seven goals in his 14 Primavera 2 – B matches. His record includes appearances in the Viareggio Cup, Primavera 1 and youth play-offs.
Born in Mokamo on 25 June 2007, Spadoni holds DR Congo and Italian nationality. He is listed at 1.83m and prefers his left foot, with centre-forward his primary position.
Crotone compete in Serie C – Group C, while Spadoni’s previous club, Avellino U19, played in Primavera 2 – Group B. The loan gives the teenager a move into the senior professional structure while retaining his registration with Avellino beyond the current campaign.
Spadoni has now completed his loan transfer to Crotone, with his return to Avellino scheduled for 30 June 2027.
