John Patrick Edeh: Nigerian forward joins Ceska Lipa on loan from Liberec B

Nigerian centre-forward John Patrick Edeh has joined Czech side Ceska Lipa on loan from Liberec B. The 19-year-old moves across the country for the 2026-27 campaign, adding attacking depth to the club’s frontline in the ChNL.

Edeh, who was born on 20 November 2006, arrives after a productive spell in the Czech Football League with Liberec B. Operating through the middle in attack, he scored four goals and registered two assists in nine CFL appearances, averaging a goal roughly every 113 minutes across 452 minutes of action. That return provides a clear indication of the penalty-box threat Ceska Lipa have acquired for the new season.

The loan agreement runs until 30 June 2027, aligning with the end of Edeh’s current contract period with Ceska Lipa. It marks the latest step in a rapid rise for the young forward, who only joined Liberec B from Young Mayors on a free transfer in August 2025 before earning regular game time and this subsequent move up a division.

Ceska Lipa will look to integrate Edeh quickly as they prepare for the new ChNL campaign, with the Nigerian eligible to feature as their central attacking option. After the conclusion of the loan, he is scheduled to return to Liberec B at the end of the 2026-27 season.
