Senegal defensive midfielder Pape Ndoye has joined Libyan Premier League side Al-Ahly from Sacre Cœur in a completed transfer.
Ndoye, a right-footed holding midfielder, moves to the Benghazi club after a spell in Senegal’s Ligue 1, where he made 25 top-flight appearances and registered one assist in his most recent campaign. He has been listed with a market value of around €100,000 at the time of the switch.
The move marks Ndoye’s first step into Libyan football and continues a steady rise through West and North African clubs. He arrived at Sacre Cœur in 2024 from RCA Zemamra, having previously played for Teungueth FC after leaving D. Diop FC earlier in his career.
Standing at 1.85m, Ndoye is expected to operate at the base of midfield for Al-Ahly, adding height and positional discipline in front of the defence. His experience in Senegal’s top division and exposure to continental competition environments provide additional depth to the Libyan side’s squad options.
Ndoye formally joined Al-Ahly on 16 July 2026, with the transfer registered as a permanent move from Sacre Cœur.
