Yannick Mausehund: TSV Havelse sign Germany and Cameroon defender on loan

Germany and Cameroon centre-back Yannick Mausehund has joined TSV Havelse from 1. FC Koln II on loan until 30 June 2027, completing a move to the 3. Liga club.

The 20-year-old defender switches clubs after spending the previous part of the 2026-27 season with 1. FC Koln II in the Regionalliga West. The transfer was completed on 5 August 2026, with Mausehund now beginning a temporary spell at Havelse.

Mausehund is a right-footed centre-back and stands 1.91m tall. His move gives him the opportunity to continue his development at a club competing in the 3. Liga, following his involvement at the start of the current campaign with Koln’s reserve side.

He made one appearance for 1. FC Koln II in the Regionalliga West during the 2026-27 season, playing 45 minutes. In that match, he started and received a yellow card.

Born in Berlin on 2 March 2006, Mausehund has represented both German and Cameroonian football through his nationality. He began his youth career with Hertha BSC before moving to Tennis Borussia Berlin in July 2019. He later joined Viktoria Berlin’s youth set-up in July 2021.

Mausehund returned to Hertha BSC in July 2022, joining the club’s under-17 side before progressing to the under-19 team the following season. In February 2025, he moved to 1. FC Koln II, where he continued his senior development before making the switch to Havelse.

The defender’s previous move to Koln followed his time with Hertha’s under-19 side, while his earlier transfer from Viktoria Berlin’s under-17 team to Hertha was completed without a fee. His youth career also included spells with Viktoria Berlin and Tennis Borussia Berlin.

TSV Havelse have now secured Mausehund’s services for the 2026-27 campaign, with the loan agreement scheduled to end on 30 June 2027. The completed transfer takes him from 1. FC Koln II to TSV Havelse on a season-long loan.
