German-Cameroonian centre-back Yannick Mausehund of 1.FC Koln II is being linked with a move to TSV Havelse, with the 3. Liga side exploring a deal to bring the 20-year-old up from Regionalliga West.
Mausehund, who is under contract with Koln’s second team until 30 June 2027, has emerged as a potential defensive option as Havelse look to reinforce ahead of the new campaign. Any move would therefore require the 3. Liga club to negotiate with Koln II rather than wait for a free transfer later in his career.
The defender’s current estimated value is around €100,000, a figure that gives an indication of the scale of fee likely to be involved if talks progress. For Havelse, the attraction would be securing a young centre-back already competing in senior football, while for Mausehund the switch would represent a step up from the fourth tier to the national third division.
Mausehund has been developing within Koln’s regional set-up and has been part of a side operating in the competitive environment of Regionalliga West, a frequent staging point for players aiming to climb into the higher professional leagues in Germany.
While interest from TSV Havelse has not yet resulted in an agreement, Mausehund’s long-term deal at Koln II places his current club in a strong position as they weigh any formal approach for the defender.
