English-Nigerian centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo is being linked with a move from Chelsea to French club Strasbourg. The 28-year-old defender is currently at the Premier League side, while Strasbourg compete in Ligue 1.
Adarabioyo joined Chelsea from Fulham on a free transfer in July 2024 and remains under contract until 30 June 2028. He has since been part of the Chelsea squad that won the Conference League in the 2024-25 season and the Club World Cup in 2025.
The London-born defender has made 116 Premier League appearances during his career, scoring four goals and providing one assist. He also played in Chelsea’s 2025-26 campaign, including four appearances in the Club World Cup.
A move to Strasbourg would represent a return to France for a player whose senior career has been spent in England. Adarabioyo came through Manchester City’s academy before loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers, then joined Fulham permanently in 2020. He helped Fulham win the Championship and secure promotion to the Premier League in 2021-22.
There is no indication that an agreement has been reached, and the centre-back’s contract means Chelsea would not be required to consider a free transfer. Adarabioyo’s current deal with Chelsea runs for two more seasons beyond the 2026 summer window.
