Senegalese centre-forward Rassoul Ba has joined Bangladesh Police from Saudi Arabian club Al-Rawdah SC on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old completed the move on 5 August 2026, beginning a new chapter in Bangladesh after a spell in Saudi Arabia. Ba becomes part of the Bangladesh Police squad as a forward following a season in which he established himself as a prolific goalscorer in the Bhutan Premier League.
Ba scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 16 appearances in Bhutan’s top flight. His performances came during his time with Paro FC, where he helped the club win the Bhutanese championship in the 2024-25 season.
The Senegal international moved to Al-Rawdah from Paro in January 2026, also on a free transfer. His stay in Saudi Arabia lasted until the switch to Bangladesh Police, with the latest move representing another change of club for a player whose career has included spells across Europe and Asia.
Ba joined Paro after a period without a club and had previously played for Latvian side Liepaja and Lithuanian club Jonava. He moved to Liepaja from Jonava in March 2024, having joined Jonava from French club FC Gueugnon in July 2023. His early senior career began in Senegal with ASC La Linguere after progressing from Linguere Under-20s.
Born in Richard-Toll, Ba stands 1.87m tall and is right-footed. His primary role is as a central striker, where his recent record in Bhutan provides the clearest indication of his attacking contribution before arriving at Bangladesh Police.
The move gives Ba another opportunity to establish himself in a new league after a career that has taken him from Senegal to France, Lithuania, Latvia, Bhutan and Saudi Arabia. It also marks his first recorded transfer to a Bangladeshi club.
Ba’s free transfer to Bangladesh Police was completed on 5 August 2026.
