Milan consider January loan move for Real Madrid forward Endrick

Milan are considering a January loan move for Endrick after the Brazilian forward’s limited playing time at Real Madrid created uncertainty over his immediate future.

The Rossoneri explored the possibility of signing the 19-year-old during the summer, but the discussions did not develop into an agreement. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via TuttoMercatoWeb, Milan could revisit the situation during the winter transfer window if Endrick’s opportunities at Real Madrid do not increase.

Competition for places in Real Madrid’s attack has made it difficult for Endrick to establish a regular run of appearances. Physical problems have also interrupted his progress, further limiting his ability to build continuity since joining the Spanish club.

A temporary move is considered the most likely arrangement. Real Madrid continue to view Endrick as part of their long-term plans and would be unwilling to relinquish control of the player. A loan would therefore allow him to gain regular first-team football while remaining under the club’s ownership.

Milan believe Endrick’s age, ability and potential make him an attractive target. The Italian club could also benefit from its long-standing relationship with Roc Nation, the agency that represents the forward.

However, Milan face competition for his signature. Roma have already made initial enquiries with Endrick’s representatives, while other European clubs could become interested if Real Madrid decide that a loan is the best solution.

No agreement is close at this stage, and much will depend on the role Jose Mourinho gives Endrick before the January transfer window opens.

Real Madrid’s decision is likely to be influenced by the forward’s involvement between now and the winter market. If his playing time remains limited, a temporary departure could provide a way for Endrick to continue his development without ending the club’s longer-term commitment to him.
