Yahia Jlidi, a 17-year-old Tunisian-French left winger at Angers SCO U17, has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 club Lyon.
The reported interest concerns a player who joined Angers from Creteil Youth in July 2024. Jlidi remains part of Angers’ under-17 set-up and has not made a senior appearance in Ligue 1.
He has made five appearances in National U19 Group C, scoring once and playing 433 minutes. Jlidi has also featured twice in the Coupe Gambardella, completing 178 minutes in the competition.
The link with Lyon comes as the club assesses young attacking talent, although there has been no confirmation of an agreement or indication that a transfer has been completed. No transfer fee has been reported.
Jlidi is eligible to represent both Tunisia and France through his nationality, but his current footballing role remains with Angers’ youth side. He joined the French club on a free transfer after leaving Creteil Youth and has continued his development within Angers’ academy structure.
For now, Jlidi remains an Angers SCO U17 player, with the reported Lyon interest yet to progress to a confirmed move.
