Leeds have not reached an agreement with head coach Daniel Farke over a new contract, with the German’s current deal due to expire at the end of the season, according to Leeds Live.
Both 49ers Enterprises and Leeds want to extend their relationship with Farke, while the manager is also interested in remaining in the role. However, the details of a potential new agreement have not yet been settled.
Farke has repeatedly played down questions about his future and indicated that he is relaxed about the situation. The 49-year-old has maintained that the current stage of the season is not the right time to discuss his contract.
There is also little concern among Leeds supporters about the lack of a new deal. In a Leeds Live poll involving 1,250 people, 60% said they were not worried about Farke’s contract situation.
Farke has been in charge of Leeds since 2023. During that time, he guided the club from the Championship to the Premier League.
