Greece-Cape Verde defender Konstantinos Lima has joined Asteras Pastidas on a free transfer from Apollon Kalythies. The 32-year-old left-back has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027.
Lima, who was born in Atsiki and stands at 1.82m, switches clubs on Rhodes after a year with Apollon Kalythies, whom he also joined as a free agent in 2024 following a spell at Rodos. His arrival gives Asteras Pastidas an experienced, left-footed option on the flank as they shape their squad for the new campaign.
Capable of operating primarily at left-back, Lima has built a career across the Greek football pyramid, featuring in the Super League 1, Football League and national cup competitions. Earlier in his career he registered 17 Football League appearances and one goal, and added further impact in the Greek Cup with two goals and an assist across eight matches.
Lima’s move to Asteras Pastidas continues a journey that has taken him through a number of Greek clubs, including Episkopi, Panionios, Paniliakos and AE Lefkimmi, having first stepped up from AEL Kalloni’s youth ranks to their senior side in 2012. His contract with Asteras Pastidas ties him to the club until the end of the 2026-27 season following the free transfer agreed on 20 July 2026.
