Ionikos Nikea have completed the signing of Guinea-Bissau midfielder Georgino Kalela from Fostiras on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old joined the Greek club on 2 September 2026 and has agreed a contract running until 30 June 2027. Kalela becomes an Ionikos Nikea player after leaving Fostiras, having spent the previous part of his career with clubs in Greece.
Kalela moved to Fostiras from Asteras Vari on 1 January 2026, also on a free transfer. Before that, he joined Asteras Vari from Ik. Kallitheas in July 2023. His move to Ionikos Nikea is therefore the latest step in a series of free transfers between Greek clubs.
The midfielder made one appearance during the 2026-27 season before changing clubs. He played 27 minutes in the Kypello Amateur for Fostiras, the only recorded appearance attached to his campaign at the time of the transfer.
Kalela was born on 5 December 2002 and represents Guinea-Bissau by nationality. He joins Ionikos Nikea with his new contract in place through the end of June 2027.
The move was completed without a transfer fee, with Kalela leaving Fostiras to join Ionikos Nikea on a free transfer.
