Cameroon forward Christian Kofane is the subject of transfer interest from Everton, with the 20-year-old currently at Bayer Leverkusen.
Kofane joined Leverkusen from Spanish club Albacete in July 2025 in a deal worth €5.25m. His market value is now listed at €40m, although no transfer fee has been reported for a potential move to Everton.
The centre-forward made 29 Bundesliga appearances for Leverkusen during the 2025-26 season, scoring five goals and providing five assists. He also played in the Champions League, making 11 appearances and scoring once.
Kofane began the 2024-25 campaign with Albacete’s under-19 side before moving into the senior team in January 2025. He made 20 LaLiga2 appearances for Albacete, scoring eight goals and supplying one assist before his move to Germany.
The player, who was born in Douala and stands 1.89m tall, is a right-footed centre-forward. His current Leverkusen contract runs until 30 June 2029, leaving the Bundesliga club under no immediate pressure to sell.
Everton’s reported interest comes with Kofane established at Leverkusen after his first season with the club, but the rumour remains at an early stage and there is no indication that an agreement has been reached.
